Anyone violating these rules may be removed from the event without refund.

  • A valid ticket is required for entry
  • Wristbands/badges must be worn at all times
  • Lost credentials may not be replaced
  • Guest appearances, panels, and schedules are subject to change
  • All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated

We celebrate cosplay, but safety and respect come first.

  • Costumes must be appropriate for a public, all-ages environment
  • Cosplay is NOT consent — always ask before taking photos or interacting
  • No touching, photographing, or filming someone without permission
  • No real weapons are allowed under any circumstances
  • Prop weapons must be clearly fake and may be inspected at any time
  • Staff may deny any costume or prop deemed unsafe or inappropriate

Failure to follow cosplay rules may result in removal from the event.

By attending Vaughan Con:

  • You may be photographed or recorded by event staff or media
  • Content may be used for promotional purposes (social media, website, marketing)
  • No compensation will be provided

If you prefer not to appear in media, notify staff and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate.

Attendees may take personal photos, but must:

  • Ask for permission before photographing others
  • Respect “no photo” requests immediately

  • Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable laws and must remain under control at all times
  • Event staff are available to assist with directions, accessibility needs, and general support
  • We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, subject to venue limitations
  • We are committed to continuous improvement and welcome feedback to improve accessibility
  • Do not touch or photograph merchandise without permission
  • Only approved vendors may sell items
